4/27 Oaksterdam Legal Department Rescheduling Virtual Press Conference

Oaksterdam rescheduling press conference

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, April 24, 2026

On Thursday, April 23, the Trump Administration formally moved “marijuana,” defined as cannabis plants producing more than 0.3% THC, from Schedule I to Schedule III, immediately reclassifying all products in regulated medical cannabis markets as Schedule III controlled substances. At Oaksterdam, we have a LOT of questions about what happens next, and we are sure you do too. We invite you to join our trusted legal subject matter experts for a virtual press conference to get them answered. This is an opportunity to learn from our working group of attorneys, who have specialized in different areas of cannabis law for decades and have the greatest insights into how this may play out and how industry players and interpretations can affect the rollout.

The panel is moderated by Oaksterdam Executive Chancellor Dale Sky Jones and features attorneys Lauren Vázquez, Dale Hunt, PhD, Dale Schafer, Luke Zimmerman, Drew Sanchez, and others to be announced.
