Stuart Watts was born and raised in San Francisco and is a fifth-generation San Franciscan. After working in hospitality for years, Stuart started his first company, SF Native Tours, in 2014.
In 2016 Stuart’s team founded the first cannabis tour company in the state of California. Green Guide Tours provides interactive cannabis tours about the history, science, criminal reform, and culture of cannabis in the Bay Area and around the world. The goal is to stop negative stigmas of cannabis through fun educational experiences.
Stuart is an active member of his community, and has sat on a variety of local committees in San Francisco City Hall and was a founding board member of the California Cannabis Tourism Association. Outside of his passion for San Francisco history, Stuart loves camping, urban design, skateboarding, and will never say no to a snack. Stuart Watts is an instructor for Oaksterdam University’s Business Department.
