Solventless Extractions

This course introduces the two solventless extraction methods used in the commercial cannabis industry—ice water extraction and rosin pressing—and the types of products created with them.

Ethanol Extractions

This course examines the safe operation of ethanol extraction systems and the wide range of products that can be produced.

Products, Methods of Ingestion & Dosing

This course covers traditional and modern cannabis extraction products, the wide variety of end products that can be made from them, and how these different methods of ingestion and dosage influence the effects consumers experience.

Light Hydrocarbon Extractions

This course examines the operation of light hydrocarbon extraction systems and the wide range of products that can be produced with this method through variations of the extraction and post-processing techniques.

Safety & Risk Mitigation for Management

This course, based on US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, covers the basics of managing staff and facility hygiene policies with a goal of stopping the spread of sickness and illness.

Cannabis History & Policies

This course introduces the history of the cannabis plant and its reemergence into legal marketplaces.

US Cannabis Laws

This course examines the tension between federal and state laws to provide a better understanding of the industry today.

Advocacy

This course walks students through the process effective advocates use, and provides students with techniques, strategies, and best practices they can adopt to achieve their goals, and contextualizes current federal policy and the impacts of how it could change.
