Jen Randolph Reise is a passionate advocate for Minnesota’s budding craft cannabis industry. An attorney by training, she co-founded North Star Law Group PLLC in April 2023, where she represented entrepreneurs in navigating the complexities of changing Minnesota cannabis laws and building businesses.
North Star Cannabis Consulting, launched in January 2025, builds on Jen’s experience and expertise and offers a more focused menu of services to Minnesota cannabis entrepreneurs, including a cannabis business accelerator. These include helping entrepreneurs navigate the licensing process and continuing her well-respected newsletter.
Jen has been profiled in the Star Tribune, Minneapolis St.-Paul Business Journal, and Racket.MN (which dubbed her the “weed lady lawyer”), and frequently speaks on podcasts, CLEs, and panels on cannabis law and policy.
