Eric Brandstad Eric Brandstad is a Greenhouse, Farm, and Industry Expert that has been in the Industry for over 30 years. Eric is a 4th-generation farmer – originally from San Joaquin County, California , where his family has been commercially farming since 1862. Eric has spent most of his life learning all there is to know about farming different crops successfully.
Eric now travels the world sharing his knowledge. As the owner of a successful management and consulting company, Greenhouse Advisory Group, Eric advises farmers worldwide about efficient farming.
Eric has helped pioneer light deprivation techniques that are used throughout the industry today. Through his writing, podcasts, videos, speaking engagements, and other educational channels, Eric’s goal is to share his farming knowledge. Eric has had the opportunity to speak, judge, and moderate panels at many industry events. He has hosted educational events and has been invited to be the keynote speaker at industry Expos.
Eric uses speaking and consulting opportunities to educate farmers. He currently travels throughout the U.S. and abroad speaking, consulting, networking, and sharing his passion primarily in the cannabis industry. Eric teaches Greenhouse I, II, and Sustainability courses at Oaksterdam University in Oakland, California. With over 35 years of experience in the industry, Eric has many personal references available from people across the industry and is now available for private consultations.
