Courtney Moran, LLM, is the founding principal of EARTH Law and the chief legislative strategist for Agricultural Hemp Solutions, where she expertly champions legal policy for hemp agribusiness development.
Courtney’s passion and forward-thinking leadership carve pathways that make hemp an accessible agricultural commodity. Courtney also litigated the landmark case KaB, LLC v USPIS, MLB 18-39 (2018), which established the precedent for the shipment of hemp through the US Postal Service.
Courtney worked closely with the offices of Senator Ron Wyden and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in drafting and negotiating the Hemp Farming Act of 2018 (S. 2667), the language included in the 2018 Farm Bill (the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018) that federally legalized hemp.
