About the Program

Cannabis consumption is now a legal part of concerts, festivals, and events in California. Designated cannabis consumption areas are regulated by the Department of Cannabis Control, and workers at events where cannabis is served to adults require basic knowledge of best practices for safe consumption, side effects, recognizing the signs of alcohol or drug impairment and preventing unsafe consumption, and how to stay compliant with state and local laws and regulations. This program is designed to quickly help students achieve outcomes and be prepared to work confidently at a licensed consumption event.
