Work inventory at a factory, they paid for me to take this course. I appreciated them extending that to me and giving me that opportunity. I want to use the scholarship to make it easier for people to access cannabis as a form of medicine and to maybe break down this corporate structure that we have in cannabis and make sure it’s not monopolized, that small businesses can start their own grows without having to be millionaires, go to Oaksterdam, get their certificate, start their business. Changing the way people view cannabis is also important … I definitely really liked the horticulture labs on Fridays and I liked the extra field trips I thought those were really cool. Don’t hesitate just do it. It’s definitely worth it. It’s hard work but it’s worth it in the end. You meet some great people in this industry, and the people you’re going to meet in this course are going to be driven to succeed. They’re there to learn. Don’t hesitate. Jump right in. Don’t miss those hort labs on Friday. Go to those as much as you can. Get as much as you can from it because all of it is good. All of it is information you’re going to want to have.”
