Oaksterdam Cannabis Terminology Style Guide

This style guide is designed for use in academia and by any journalist, reporter, writer, or public relations professional. It was composed and edited by the experts at Oaksterdam University and will evolve with use, so we welcome your feedback, input, questions, and requests for clarification.

Titration Guide

Every cannabis consumer is different and will experience products differently due to various factors that include the product’s chemical composition, individual tolerance, current physiological state, dosage, and method of ingestion. This guide provides practical considerations for how to “titrate” a dose, or customize dosage based on how an individual experiences the effects. Dispensary owners and managers can print out copies for customers to take home after budtenders explain the content.
