A Comprehensive Resource on Cannabis Use, Products, and Effects
Dedicated to the advancement, education, and implementation of reasonable, evidence-based cannabis policy
The Oaksterdam Nonprofit for Education — The ONE — is a national organization formed to promote educational scholarships and career opportunities in cannabis.
No topic is off limits, and no question is too basic.
Every Hort Lab includes a show-and-tell portion where attendees can feature their gardens or plants, as well as a Q and A.
The fact that the labs are live each week means you can address time-sensitive problems to keep your plants healthy. If you’re stumped by something going on with your garden, you can display your curled leaves or discolored spots on camera for immediate advice.
Beyond cannabis, attendees are welcome to ask about growing fruits, vegetables, and even houseplants. It’s a way to strengthen the OU Garden Club and bring together the OU community in a casual yet informative way.
“It doesn’t have to be a cannabis plant. It can be an aloe vera or ornamental orchid. We just want to celebrate and encourage this hobby,” Bowen says. “The labs have a high value for people actively gardening and those who just want to listen, learn, and improve.”
Students from around the world have joined Hort Labs in the past, sharing their love of gardening. We can’t wait to see you on the calls in the future!
Open to OU Students and Alumni. Attend via Live Zoom with the host OU Faculty Jeff Jones. Garden Club is every Friday from 10 – 11 AM PT / 12 – 1 PM ET.
