Finland Health Minister Endorses Cannabis Decriminalization

Cannabis reform could be coming to Finland, or at least it should be, says Finland’s Minister for Social Affairs and Health Aino-Kaisa Pekonen. The health minister recently endorsed cannabis decriminalization, just as members of the Finnish Parliament are considering such a proposal. 

House Committee Votes to End Federal Prohibition

The historic vote marks the first time that a key congressional committee has passed a bill that would remove cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act, decriminalizing it at the federal level and giving states the freedom to continue setting their own policies.
